Gordon Robertson
Head Golf Professional
As Head Professional at Drumpellier and with over 10 years expert golf industry experience, I offer all members and guests a first-class retail outlet which boasts many of golf’s leading brands such as Titleist, Ping, Callaway, Under Armour, Footjoy & Hugo Boss.
I also offer a specialist custom fitting service in our state-of-the art indoor swing studio using Trackman 4 Launch Monitor.
I have a successful background in golf coaching and have worked with golfers of all abilities.
I take great pride in giving the highest levels of customer service and providing real value for money, giving confidence and piece of mind to all of my customers.
Ronnie Carlton
Assistant Golf Professional
I am an extremely driven and forward thinking golf professional, with a strong interest in club fitting using Trackman 4 Launch Monitor, I am a professional club builder, repairer and fitting specialist and qualified under master club builder Jeff Hatton.
I enjoy teaching with a keen interest in player development and game management with a track record of lowering scores. Myself and Gordon will be looking to develop the junior and ladies game through extensive coaching at the club and we will be launching some exciting coaching programmes throughout the golf season.

I started at Drumpellier Golf Club in April 2021 bringing 30 years of experience from Ladybank Golf Club as Course Manager where I was involved in 7 final qualifiers for the Open Championship and many other prestigious tournaments. I’m extremely passionate about my job and thrive on any new challenge.
I regular attend exhibitions, seminars and workshops to further develop my knowledge resulting in always keeping up to date with the latest technology, science and modern practises within the greenkeeping industry.
Gareth Thomson
Deputy Head Greenkeeper
I have worked at Drumpellier Golf Club for 21 years. I started as an apprentice in November 2000 and have worked my way up over the years. I am a hardworking, dedicated, and passionate individual who brings a wealth of experience of our course.
Outside of work I am a family man who enjoys spending time with my wife and two young boys.
